Chocolate is all the more intoxicating with a side of wine or beer at Red Dessert Dive, where the sweets are decadent and happy hour runs every Monday through Thursday. Snack on a salted caramel brownie while sipping a glass of red or opt for the cardamom hot chocolate with a salted Valrhona chocolate chip cookie. Ask the owner Jessica why the name Red Dessert Dive and she will tell you, “My Mammaw was a fiery red-head whom my Pappaw lovingly referred to as Red. I decided to honor her in the naming of the business because she made desserts like nobody I know and I ate them like nobody I know!”
