Since 1942 Edelweiss has been handmaking chocolate in Beverly Hills using fresh cream, butter and imported fruit and nuts. Edelweiss was the inspiration for the famous “I Love Lucy” chocolate-making-gone-crazy episode. Edelweiss still uses some of their original machines to make chocolate-covered marshmallows, chocolate truffles, English toffee, hand-dipped oreos and a variety of molded chocolates, both dark and milk. Edelweiss has some unique offerings like caramel popcorn, honeycomb sponge, honeycomb chips, chocolate-covered dried fruits and chocolate-covered matza sheets.
