Compartes has been a Los Angeles icon since 1950, serving celebrities like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, the Kennedys and Winston Churchill. After almost 50 years, the Compartes sold their company to the Grahm family, where, at the age of 15, Jonathon took the European-style confections that Mrs. Compartes created and started developing his own takes on classic recipes. Jonathon’s vision is to create edible works of art, to reflect an experience unlike any other in the world. Some of Compartes’ unique bars include Avocado Chocolate Bar, Donuts and Coffee Milk Chocolate Bar and Peanut Butter & Jelly Milk Chocolate Bar. Compartes’ truffles include mouth-watering flavors like peanut butter honey sea salt, lemon tart, pistachio sea salt, and coconut cream. Compartes also offers custom-made chocolates.
