Christine Azar opened the doors of Azar Indulgences in 2015 to share her love of Lebanese chocolates with her fellow Portlanders. Christine was inspired by her grandmother who visited her from Lebanon and reminded her of how delightful and well-balanced the chocolates from her childhood had been. The chocolates made by Azar are all ethically sourced and made in a family tradition going back over a century. Azar offers Belgian styled chocolates made with cacao sourced from the Ivory Coast. Azar offers a wide assortment of chocolates including truffles, salted caramels and a crowd favorite, cornflake crunch, which tastes like a fancy Kit Kat bar.
